beret
I have fished needles successfully at night but curious what you guys fish more "Floating" or "Sinking" and why. My luck was with a floater, lost it....now I have a S/S sinking needle to try. If you fish both types.....why.....when do use one versus the other.......thanks for the feedback. ThatSlyBasstard
I recently jumped on the needlefish bandwagon. I only use sinking needles. Not one hit on them yet I fish.I surf.I boat.I sail.I am a total ocean sportsman, and I hate no one else who loves the ocean.
buz23
If you are fishing quiet, shallow water at night, you probably want a floater or at least a slow sinker. If you are fishing rough surf you want one that sinks pretty fast. You can find more info in DJ Muller's book "Surfcaster's Guide to the Striper Coast", or Z's book "The Art of Surfcasting with Lures".
