clopes
Nice day out, not too windy, not too cold. Enjoyed the scenery....but that was about it. Couldn't buy a fish, especially when you leave your bait at home in the basement. Caught a nice star fish that must have traveled south from the canal, as I heard they were blitzing a few days ago there, and one scup while jigging. Saw about six seals around fishers and the hill. All done for the year, we'll see you all in six months. Time now to get the tip ups ready and the auger sharpened. Later.

But made several casts with the Penn Battle and LamiGSB1201L. THANKS BERNZY!!! "We eat cold eels and think distant thoughts" Jack Johnson.

clopes
I forgot to say...As we came up to the island off the point a guy was already "fishing" off on the other point. So we were plugging away when all of a sudden to shots let out! I almost shiet myself and noticed the guy putting down his weapon and moving his boat to get his duck. Another 10 minutes he gets another as we were drifting away. First I've seen of that as close as we were and with a few other boats going out past fishers. Woke me the hell up first thing- I'll tell you that.

Evercast
Hey guys, I just wanted to say how much I loved being down there, traveled down from Maine with a friend for the day, I fished all around Watch Hill up to Point Judith Yesterday and had a blast. Only landed a few small guys and one nice blue off a beach, just over 12#, but the scenery was amazing. Talked with some nice guys in the surf and enjoyed exploring your beautiful coast. Good to see you still have blues hanging around and heard about more being in the area, don't hang it up yet, your waters are still warm enough to hold some great fish, good luck to you all!!! I hope I can get down there again next year.
