Don't recall ever seeing one of those.

I hadn’t seen one until a couple days ago. Don posted a few for sale on his Instagram that’s how I got it

Found these A-54s to be very useful last year. More work needs to be done as I’m trying to eliminate the rear treble while maintaining its action. Going to add the white to my rotation this spring.  Single in-line or dressed siwash? The large dressed siwash I added to the grey/white worked well but I feel a smaller size hook may be better. Anyone else play with these?

I rigged the one I have with a worm weight on the back.. the action didn’t change much at all. (I swam them back to back for comparison)

Nice.  I’ve tried this method and like it. I’ll use the weight for deeper running plugs and put a feathered trailer for surface runnng plugs. Not to try and make it run deeper but just to keep the wiggle tighter. Hmmm

I’d say give it a shot then. I’ve changed out all my needles to a rear worm weight as well as any other plug that wasn’t effected drastically by one.

I’ll be testing out the Danny jr I got this weekend with a rear worm weight, just need to get a size down to match the hooks weight.
