Garcia Mitchell 306 handle on a 704????

Yup, have them on 700, 704 & 710. They are easier to get than the penn 706 power knob. you will have to tap the hole on the arm AFTER you remove the torpedo handle. I use the 704 arm with a grey mitchell knob on my 710.

just got it and now have to figure out how to remove the torpedo know, remove the pancake mitchell know, swap and reinstall on the 704 handle............any pointers?

You have to remove the Penn torpedo knob (hacksaw) and press the shaft out of the handle then get a metric tap (5MMX80) and tap threads into the Penn handle to match the Mitchell knob screw (#81497). If your Mitchell knob has the knob lube port (#81059) in it you have to remove that to get to the knob screw. Good luck.
