Scott STS 909/3

This is a brand new Scott STS 909/3 fly rod.(9' 9wt. 3pc.) It is a "Classic 2008" re-issue of one of the best 9wt. rods ever produced. This rod has never been fished, it still has the plastic on the cork and comes with the blank warranty card. These sold for $695.00 I am asking $450.00 plus shipping. Thank you.

Bump and a half! Actually that is a phenomenal rod (IMO). I've got the the STS rods from 7 thru 10wt and they are all awesome. Ahh, but the nine is especially fine. A good friend used to be Scott's operations managers some year's back. If you ever saw their ad with the guy getting yanked off the jet ski by a Tarpon rod- that was him. My rods have seen years of use and are holding up great. Wish I had the money to get a 2nd one.

'nuther free bump. I have the original, a wedding present from my wife in 1997 , and you will have to pry that rod outta my cold dead hands. Throws a sinking line beautifully.
