Clams & Other Shellfish - Cape Charles

Guys - does anybody have any tips on clamming / oystering etc in the Cape Charles area? I know that these kinds of requests are annoying to locals. I am a fisherman who takes the environment very seriously. I will not take too many and will only be in the area for 5 days. Just looking to take my parents and sister out to try something new. Any tips that can be posted on here would be very appreciated. Also, feel free to pm if you have any info you can share that would really help us get started. Total newbies here. Thanks!

Cool - thanks for the PM man. What about other general suggestions? It really seems like discussing clamming is a tabboo subject amongst fishermen. Is it because its hard to find a good spot?
