The Finer Things Club

I often feel out of place here,

thread after thread of people discussing drinking ordinary beer and swilling cheap booze.

bar fights....

owning mutts.

tinkering with their own vehicles.

well I say enough, it's time for those of us with class and a touch of savoir faire to unite and form a club where we celebrate the finer things in life.....

In the Finer Things Club, you meet to discuss books and art and celebrate culture in a very civilized way. The debate can sometimes be heated but is always respectful.

more details to follow, in my room.

those with numbers need not apply.

View PostYou talkin gourmet club kinda stuff ?

Help me out here, there's no way I'm fitting in with this crowd, right?

If your idea of fine dining is the Red Lobster

(and I suspect it is)

then no,

the Finer Things Club is not for you.

I'm sure your little head will be filled with thoughts of what goes on inside,

because you will never be inside.

not even for the menial repair work your limited skill set is qualified for.

I hear ya mag. Sometimes it's hard to rise above the din with all these schleps around here. A beer connisoir myself, I often add a little cold coffee and a teaspoon of salt to my pabst in the morning - tastes just like an IPA and goes great with scrapple and a cig.

keep up the good fight - it must be exhausting.
