Obummer to Raise Taxes 26.9 Trillion!

I think part of the reason that we on the left fail to get sympathy is the way we use numbers. Most people don't know the difference between 1 Billion, 100 Billion, 1 Trillion and a hundred trillion dollars. It's all "Bigger than we can think of".

Cut it down to average numbers..., if the 27 trillion is over 10 years... 2.7 trillion a year and then say "And that's about 17% of annual GDP.

Much clearer and much easier for the average moron to understand.

There are liars, damn liars, statisticians and Democrats... as long as we don't hit the last of the four on the "blatant misdirection" scale, we're golden.

View PostWait til november, 97 days to go.

It's Novemer to January that we had better be concerned about.

It's going to be like the deadbeat tenant who, upon hearing of their eviction trashes the place.

Now that's going to be a major cleanup job.

kind of like what bush did right?-started to fund NUMEROUS bailouts from the car industry to the finance industry and issued socialist stimulus checks such as the economic stimulus bill of 2008 when we could not afford them, gave tax cuts to the upper end income earners while not reducing spending all the way trying to fund two wars and then left us footing the bill for years to come

sadly Obama is more of the same as far as spending goes and the continuation of the bailouts-not the change I wanted in that respect for sure-take away the Obama healthcare mess and he is just like Bush on almost everything right now with the exception of more regulation

Who had the house for his last two years? Now with their super majority and the president combined, you ain't seen nothin' yet.

I hope I'm wrong.

About those bailouts, I was against them. I'm REALLY against the way the creditors took it up the poop chute while the unions got what they got.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

Now look at the TARP inspector general's report that many of the dealership closings were probably unnecessary, adding to the unemployment rolls.

There are screw ups and then there are SCREW UPS.

These bums are already trashing the place. What damage can they do that they haven't already done or are trying to do?

Cap & Trade is the one that worries me the most for the time being. That has the potential to make everyone in the country feel good about him/herself at the same time s/he is starving to death.
