Left the WA home, on the Straits of Juan de Fuca, 65 degrees at noon.

Temps not too bad through Oregon.

Going through Redding, 103 degrees.

Redbluff, 111 degrees.

Vacaville, 7 PM at the Best Western, 98 degrees.

The new F150 has a great air conditioner!!

Napa was not too bad, 95 in the afternoon, but our friend's home is on a hill in Napa Valley, gets the nice breeze, plus lots of shade trees. Mornings were delightful.

How do those folks up Redding and Redbluff way survive????

The F150 has Sirius, I was listening to Margaritaville as I was rolling down I-5.

Yea, I was thinking of Siesta. Which is what I did when we got to the friend's in Napa, he had a nice hammock under the Oak Trees. Nice breeze and a glass of chilled Napa wine, lights out! Dreamed of Pacifica Stripers.

Love Napa and Saint Helena wine tasting tours. Also the drive along the silverado trail and Conn Lakes fishing. C&R for largemouth bass is a lot of fun when the fish as on the spawning beds.
