KevinB
I got a later start this season, grew all my peppers from seed. My plants all are starting to flower and little baby peppers are on there now, how long before these mature into fullsize peppers?
bass-o-matic
It depends on the variety. Most peppers are around 90 days or so from germination. "I just do what the voices in my tackle box tell me to do."
tsnj
Depends upon the variety. Jalepenos and other smaller peppers will only take about 10 days, but larger bell peppers could take longer, especially if you want to leave them on to turn red. HJS
I picked my first green bell 3 days ago. I bought plants and put them in the ground in late April. So if you got little tiny peppers showing I'm guessing they will be pickable in maybe 3 weeks. If you are as dry as I am here in MD then keep them watered. I've always heard that bell peppers don't set friut well if its really hot. Not sure if that true or not. The first casualty of War, Politics, and now Covid is the truth.
