Has anyone ever tried freezing quahog meat? Is it any good taste wise, and if so how do you do it? Thanks for any help you can lend. By the way, the striper and tuna fishing is phenominal right now!

You can just put them unshucked in bag and freeze them. Do it all the time. When you want to use them just run them under the faucet for 10-15 seconds, then shuck. The clam and juice will come out as a puck. I use them for bakers and they're fine, just let them thaw in their juice. Give them a little wash around in the juice to get rid of any silt/sand.
