lv2huntandfish
All I can say is wow. Arrived at the location at 2:30 and was surprised that there was no wind. Walking down to the water I could hear the waves absolutely roaring. Wasnt sure how the fishing would be on my first cast I found out just how sweet I thought it would be. Landed a 22" fish. Took me a little while to unhook him and got a tangle then I was right back out. On my next cast I hooked a fish and promptly lost him. I was pissed and stoked all at the same time. I cast back out in the same area and twitch twitch twitch sit...bang! Fish hammered it and promptly zipped out the drag. I knew it was a good one and it took me a little while on my medium action 7'. Finally got it in sight and it was quite challenging to bring to my hand with the huge waves pounding on us. Finally got a picture and a tape on him and I put him back in the water and he fired away. I thought we were going to hammer them...but that was not the case we didn't land another fish the rest of the night. It completely shut down. It was a bittersweet night but I am ecstatic that I came 2 inches from my season goal.
Tlacey21walden
Nice looking fish Many men fish all their lives without ever realizing that it is not the fish they are after, If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles
