Short sink tip.

I found a 5' TI6 sink tip in my box. How do I use it? Most of my fly ines are full floating, I fish 2 rods, a St. Croix 8wt and an Albright 8-9 wt. Both of these rods are pretty slow by today's standards.

Not sure on that particular sink tip but we've always looped in 2, 4 or 6' sections of lead core between the line and short leader. Assuming yours has a loop at both ends, you should do teh same. Then just cast it as gracefully as you can. Always worked in a pinch for me.

T- and number usually means grain weight/foot and if yours 5ft is 80gr it might be challenging to cast behind 8/9wt lines but you can try.
