This photo has been going around as reported to have been taken from the end of the Casino Pier yesterday by a lifeguard. I would think that might have made the papers if this guy was cruising around bathers.cwm31.gif

Water looks a bit clear for inshore NJ, although it has been nice recently and I've seen it that good. I have no proof that this is was taken from the Casino Pier though.

What say you?

And I'm not going to stand here and see that thing cut open and see that little Kintner boy spill out all over the dock.

No the water looks like that plenty down by the pier and IBSP. I dont doubt it. But I still call shenanigans. I would think there would be more of a hoopla.

Lots of seals this year and last year in the spring. See em all the time off the yak in RB. I know GW are common out by the sea girt reef.

Interesting. Do you think GWs eat otters? Now that would be ironic.biggrin.gif

It's a basking shark. Harmless. They often get confused with great whites. Was prolly filtering off the stupid with the arrival of the Jersey Shore cast. icon14.gif

I will doubt whether this is from the Casino Pier, but it is definitely a white.
