yak bluefin

7 posts in this topic

Hiya all, just thought you might be interested in a bluefin tuna taken from a yak in Tasmania:

*******************************

As you'll see the fish was taken by a female yakker, on a handline. The fairer sex is on fire in Oz at the moment _ we've also now got our first female (and first red headed) prime minister. Cheers.

Link down taken down?

Sorry, just thought people would be interested; the link was to an Aussie yak fishing site, not spruiking a product or anything. Strange you can't link to other yak fisherscwm13.gif

The main problem I see with yak fishing for bluefin is; where do ya put it once ya catch it ? I wouldn't want a 100# (or more) anchor hanging off one of my cleats.

For those who never dealt with tuna; they sink like a rock.
