the Goose Hummock this afternoon, looking to put some line on my FIL's reel. While i was there, i figured i might as well look for a replacement for the custom all-star blank i snapped a few weeks back. I was more then dissapointed when i walked over to the saltwater section and found only about a dozen rods in a standup.

As i looked through the selection i found an ugly stick, a couple of custom Goose rods, 3 legends, and a handful of random cheapos. I had all but given up hope, when,....i spotted it. There it stood, in all it's glory; All 10'6" of the 3/4-4oz version of the St. Croix Mojo.

i left a happy man.wink.gif

Did you find the stand alone rod rack next to the plastic swim baits?

(They have the hard to find Tsunami sand eels in a lighter weight four pack and also the heavier ones in the two pack)

It's kinda hard to look these rods the way they have the rack postioned.

Brad,

Do you know how many people are looking for that exact rod?clapping.gif I know of four (including your Dad) right off the top of my head.

That is such a sweet casting rod. Next time you're at the canal, put on a 3oz cripple herring, and feel the heart.gif .

Congrats.wink.gif

You can get that one on the Bay of thieves from J&H. No tax, free shipping, $4.60 EBay Bucks and 8% BING cashback, Nets out to around $207.

They only have the light version though. No 2-6 oz model available.
