I 95 through Foxboro

If you plan on travelling on I 95 south from 128 through Foxboro, find another route. A fuel truck tipped over and dumped a lot of jet fuel all over the highway. The road is closed at this stretch (I believe it's the southbound side, but double check if you're travelling through this stretch)

The traffic is backed up for miles. This happened in 2008 as well. That was also a nightmare.

FOXBORO, Mass. -- A tanker truck carrying jet fuel rolled over on I-95 Southbound, spilling 11,000 gallons of fuel. The tanker truck flipped on to its side early Sunday morning, at 4:41 a.m, in Foxboro, on the ramp between 95 South and 495 South. Police were forced to shut down I-95 near exit 6.

Hazardous materials crews were called to the scene.

The driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to Rhode Island Hospital.

Police have been rerouting traffic from Route 95 to 495, and then on to Route, in order to bypass I-95.

They encourage drivers to seek alternative routes and to expect heavy traffic backup.

All Northbound lanes and ramps remain open.
