Broken anti-reverse

I have a cheap okuma rod and reel i bought for my girl to tool around with on the beach. After maybe 15 times out the anti reverse broke. I think the reel might have some sand jamming the anti reverse keeping it from engaging. Is it worth taking apart is it easy to fix?

Diagnostic Procedure for Anti-reverse: Spin the handle rapidly and quickly depress the clutch bar. If the handle does not stop immediately upon depression of the clutch bar, then that is a good indicator that the anti-reverse is in need of replacement, check reverse lever. Its worth fixing..Get your  reel schematics and take a look at how it comes apart. Good Lucksmile.gif
