When I fish the jetty I have a hell of a long walk so I like to fan cast along the beach as I walk to the jetty. I am not gonna fish the jetty with waiders so i've been waring timberland boots with slip on spikes. I have these knee high rubber boots I slip over my tims for the walk along the beach. When I hit the rocks I take the rubbers off and put them in the sand and hope their still their when I walk back.So far so good. What I am asking is their any other way I can keep the sand out of my jetty boots so I do not have to put the rubber boots on over the others. I cannot spend much more on fishing gear this year so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I don't feel I need to waid along the beach as I walk and fish cause this will take me forever to reach my real destination.I figure it's the middle of the night and the bass should be in my casting range. This is only when I set my mind that tonight I will spend most of my time on the jetty. Thanks gents.
