yes lots of people collect them - and yes they are beautiful works of art -

but this weekend I HAD to fish the black/gray scaled popper (most recent run sold here) and all I have to say about it was: WOW !!!

For a 1 3/4oz plug, it cast like a rocket AND is the easiest popper style plug I've ever fished.

Even better? I caught fish on it (a small bass & blues - I know I know)!

Two thumbs up for Ryan and those poppers he's created.

Don't collect these fellas - fish the SOBS !!!

View PostYes, I have the bottom one. I looking for the pix of the fish they caught WITH the popper in the mouth. smile.gif

used old mans card board camera - plus you have no idea what its like to post "shorts pix" in the reports thread in Jersey forum - so not really worth breaking out the digi -

but I can scan them in when I get them from him AND pix of the plug too with the teeth marks.

It was awesome

saw this is the collectors thread - awesome paint job -

I need a dark top over light belly - no scales or fancy paint necessary! These will have teeth marks in no time (seriously!!!

View PostAre they worth the cash? they seem a little pricey. I do love the RM'Sheart.gif

yes - for me - so far the peanuts & 2oz swimmers along with the popper have caught the most fish ~>
