I glued something together with gorilla glue and need to take it apartredface.gif It's aluminum glued to plastic (both round). I tried heating the metal without melting the plastic, but didn't get too risky. If I melt the plastic it's gonna cost me a couple hundredmad.gif

Any ideas?

View Postor "Goof off".... it works on everything, even gorilla glue

I'm pretty sure a solvent will eat the plastic. Is Goof off a solvent?

It's a tight seal, I dont know if anything will penetrate?

If I twist it I might break the plastic. I'm Effffed I think.

Gorilla glue is pretty much impossible to dissolve without doing the same to the plastic component that it is adhered to.

I concur, you are screwed.

I have some Cleaner for 2 part Polyisocyanurate Foam Guns. It was used to clean Plastic Mixer Tubes that the Foam plugged up.

Gorilla Glue is basically a 1 part Water Blown Foam.

Are you North, or South of RI?
