No real doubts about violence as a political tactic of the left anymore.

I don't recall the left using violence as a political tactic before. Well, maybe a little in the former Soviet Republics, a couple isolated incidents in China perhaps, and I think I remember something minor happening in Cambodia when I was a kid.

Don't forget Cuba! We usually don't count them I think because their food is SO good.

EB, it has nothing to do with left v. right moving scale as opposed to authoritarian v. libertarian one. you've mentioned authoritarian regimes which would have been authoritarian regardless of political persuasion.

Amazing example of blatant reverse racism. If a white dude had walked into a black protest and pulled that crap, he'd of been stomped to death, with nary a peep of indignation by the LSM, and the PC pundits. cwm13.gif

The fact that the black dude felt perfectly comfortable doing what he did speaks volumes as to how the pendulum has swung. Absolutely shameful. cwm13.gif

Geese guys. You don't remember the Chicago Seven or the Weathermen.

Those leftest punks who bombed the Pentagon and killed cops in NY and NJ while robbing banks and escaping from jail

The the inept left wing radicals who blew up a brownstone in the Village while concocting pipe bombs?

Where did this peaceful Left rumor start?

CNN, NPR or MSNBC?

Violence is a tool of the powerless and disenfranchised.

the fact Obama's poll numbers went down did a LOT to silence all the jibber jabber of Patriotic rebellion from the right.

If the Dems retain power in November, and gather steam....

I assure you that there will be a return to the talk we heard a year ago.

and those who sought to break unions,

and our founding fathers,

and slave masters,

violence gets used a lot, when you think it's the ONLY tool at your disposal.

history will bear this out.
