Kayaking restrictions?

we are going on our annual 2 week trip to northeast florida and we are deciding to bring a kayak down this year to get to somespots that we could not in the past years. it is a two seater and my question is do we need any permits, also gatorscwm31.gif ?? any advice would be great.

No permits for a kayak , you just need life jackets and a whistle , you will need a fishing license if fishing . Gators aren't too common in saltwater , in freshwater don't worry about the little ones .

Like Bill said you do not need a permit, however it is smart to bring a whistle or an air horn and life jackets. safety first!

 

Once shark fishing off the beach i was in the kayak about 200 yards out and a boat came between me and the shore and cut me right off, lost about 150 yards of 100 lb mono frown.gif
