Had one this weekend that sounded awful so I had to order it: a Bloody Ugly, Guinness with bloody mary mix. Actually, pretty damn tasty cwm27.gif

I will confess to drinking, and enjoying, beer with Clamato. Apparently it's Mexican, maybe my love for Mexican speaking Mexican parasail operators clouds my judgement, but it is quite tasty.

In my former life as a drinker (sober 2 years now) I used to guzzle a concoction my buddy called the Smu-Tang a combination of his buddy's (the drink's inventor) last name mixed with the Wu Tang Clan.

The Smu-Tang

1 lager (or light bodied beer) of your choosing

1 half can of redbull

A couple oz of OJ. (I used equal parts oj to redbull).

Pour Red Bull, and orange juice into a pint glass, add beer. Enjoy!

It sounds nasty but believe it or not it is pretty freaking good.

These things were a fishing staple on late night trips!!! beers.gifbeers.gifbeers.gif

Guinness in a bloody Mary is awesome. Any kind of thick dark beer actually. I use it as a BM ingredient. What you're talking about seems more like a 1/2 and 1/2 serving though. headscratch.gif

View PostLove beer and love Bloodies, but I think I'm gonna upck.gif........

I don't blame you. Until I tried it I thought it was going to be gross.

I do not care for the taste of lime in beer, however.

View PostI really don't understand this .

Same goes for me . I like beer , I love bloody Marys .

Why do you feel the need to mix them ? Are people that bored ?

For me, the beer and clamato (mixed myself) is tasty and strangely refreshing.

I don't know that I would buy a can of it, that certified color has got to be some kind of Mexican ploy to get me in a parasail.
