Love that reel-- when it's working properly! rolleyes.gif

Problem is... I blow it up on big Bass & Blues (or even mediums!) almost once every year! I've paid almost as much for repairs on it in 8+ yrs., than the reel originally cost me!

And this is using no braid on it ever-- just 20 / 25 lb. mono! cwm31.gif

Just saying... for Bridge fishing/ 80 lb. line/ locked down drag-- I doubt that reel has the cahones! smile.gif

surprised to hear that, so far it treated me well...

I can reel up 15 pounders from 30-40 feet without any problem so far

what kind of problems you suffered, care to share in details so that I could get ready in advance if possible...

thanks

Gear and anti- reverse issues almost always (& then unrelated level- wind sometimes too) DBS--

figuratively, the reel "blows" up on me on a heavy strike/ hookset! (Could be I got a Lemon-- only have/ had one? headscratch.gif)

(& one time the handle back- turning post- "blow- up" on a running 25 lb. Bass almost broke my finger! Hurt bad for 2+ weeks! cwm31.gif

... Still landed & released that fish though! Injury/ pain analysis always comes after that! wink.gif )

PMing you a recommendation! HappyWave.gif
