bido
Bill's is long gone, as is the crappy tackle shop that tried to replace it. Try Fishermen's Den Belmar "Where is my mind? Waaaaay out in the water see it swimming?"
TKSurf
Just be careful if you are going out the inlet
Harlequinreef
Just be careful if you are going out the inlet you dont go out the inlet in the rentals. They are shabby 14 wood boats (some fiber glass). They tell you when you rent them not to go east of the Ocean Ave bridge. Last year Fishermen's Den rentals were I believe $50 for a half day and $70 for full (I think)
jerseyjoeb
Just be careful if you are going out the inlet I heard he was coming in, in the fog overnight. I was on the Avon side this afternoon. You could smell the oil/gas discharge in the water. Annoying. That is what the affected beaches and waterways in the Gulf region will smell like - many times over. Unbelieveable! TKSurf
The boat is still there this morning. Over the years I have seen lots of rentals go out in the ocean despite the fact that they are not supposed to.
jerseyjoeb
was this recent?? It happened late 6/2 or early 6/3 (yesterday). Don't know if the boat's still there. As TK says, it was still there this morning.
GermanBassMan
Make sure you have your boaters license as well. Originally Posted by Mike P: "August 29--a date that lives in striper infamy." (*member formerly known as 'DaveS')
