A place called Captain Bills is $40/day. 16 ft. boat with 8hp motor.

you dont go out the inlet in the rentals. They are shabby 14 wood boats (some fiber glass). They tell you when you rent them not to go east of the Ocean Ave bridge. Last year Fishermen's Den rentals were I believe $50 for a half day and $70 for full (I think)

I heard he was coming in, in the fog overnight.

 

I was on the Avon side this afternoon. You could smell the oil/gas discharge in the water. Annoying.

 

That is what the affected beaches and waterways in the Gulf region will smell like - many times over.

The boat is still there this morning. Over the years I have seen lots of rentals go out in the ocean despite the fact that they are not supposed to.

It happened late 6/2 or early 6/3 (yesterday). Don't know if the boat's still there.
