mtl50
Just before Capt. Don passed he gave me a couple of wood plugs signed Striper Swiper. If anyone knows who made these please let me know. All I know is that they were local. CT, RI, or Mass. most likely. Great looking plugs but after Don passed I couldn't bring myself to use them. I would like to pick up a couple more that I will actually fish. Thanks Tight Lines and High Tides Forever! mtl50
St.Croix Man
Creek chub makes a striper swiper. They've been around many years and I still catch with them. I don't know without a picture if that is what you have.
scoobydoo
He makes a good plug. My local shop carries a bunch of his stuff. "Panacheless is no way to go through life" Tims
John B
Creek chub makes the "striper strike". Atom makes the "striper swiper". Both are poppers and both are plastic. I'm not sure if atom ever made a wood version of the striper swiper. Â There is a local lure builder who makes spooks, needles, and poppers (and maybe other stuff) that signs his stuff striper swiper. He has sold at the berkeley flea market in recent years. I ate one anchovy, and that is why I did not eat two anchovies.
Charleston
Are you sure it's stripe swiper. There is a guy named neil (from Massachustetts) he makes stripersniper plugs. He has sold at Berkeley a few times. I am old but I'm slow.

StriperTom
You can get the Striper Sniper plugs made by Neil at Surfland.  I caught a nice 37" bass on one of his spooks this morning  -- Tom
