ditch reel choice

Ok so I have a arra 1205-2 I'll be plugging the canal with next week.My question is which reel do you guys think would be best for the canal? I have a spheros 8000 and a cabo 60. I think the spheros is a little light for the 1205, what do you guys think? I know its mostly user preference, I'm just wondering which one would be stronger?Thanks

Cabo would be my choice, I think it handles alot better than the spheros.

An 8000 size Shimano isn't too small for a 10' rod. But I think the Cabo has stronger gears.

Daiwa .. Emblem Pro to Saltiga depending how deep your pockets are .. Zeebaas,VS are swimming reels .. Nobody is swimming to rocks at the canal so they are not needed . I fish a ZB there but very unnecessary ..
