Ya know, its the deal, either Joe Sestak is a liar, or there is a felon in the White House.

One is true, and only one. One HAS to be true.

Interesting times.

Hit him with Sestak AND hang this oil spill on his neck. Double whammy for the rest of the summer!

Gotta come up with a gag to slow down congress.

With Whitehouse lawyers having months to come up with a coverup for the truth here ---- you can expect a beauty. They will state that there was a "misunderstanding" of what actually happened.

We all know that if that were the case it would not have taken them 3+ months to address this "embarassment". Sestak is a dope, but may be an honest dope. The Obumma boys never expected their toady Specter to lose and thought that after the election Sestak would just fade away. I actually think he will fade away --- and maybe take Obumma with him!!!

Obama was questioned about this and replied that the Whitehouse would be issuing an official response later............

Why didn't he just say, "I aint saying nothing 'til I get a lawyer."

His response made him sound guilty, even if he isn't.

Little I think you nailed it.

There aren't too many option in this one, Sestak's statements are incriminating.

The forthcoming statement from the President will be interesting to watch. I suspect it will be full of diversions and adament statements that there was no wrongdoing even though there clearly is wrongdoing.

Popcorn time.

I'm lovin' this....

the same people who excused Bush/Cheney from juicin' up intel reports and outting CIA agents are now using the term "High crimes and Misdemeanors" about a Job offer.

they want special prosecutors,

and if that fails they want the Republican Governor of PA to start an investigation. Grand Juries should be empaneled, testimony gotten on record.

this is what the GOP does.

They don't win on record, they attack,

they slime.

they throw muck and mud.

After 8 years of attacking Clinton non stop,

the Dems sat on their hands with Bush, afraid of the word "Retaliation"

now with Obama in office, the GOP is cranking it up again.....

Things are bad right now.

there are REAL issues of significance.

Do we really need this manufactured drama?

You people will excuse any vile, perverted or criminal act as long as it was perpetrated by a Democrat. No wonder Americans hold you in such in contempt.

and you guys will describe ANYTHING as vile, perverted or criminal, as long as it's politically expedient to do so.

If you really want to make a big deal over a job offer, knock yourselves out.

it's this sort of political gamesmanship that caused the public to lose faith in the GOP to begin with.

you guys are too concerned with playing politics, and too cavalier about actually governing.

Washington, DC -- May 27, 2010

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton issued the following statement today regarding the federal position allegedly offered by the Obama White House to Rep. Joe Sestak (D-PA). Rep. Sestak has claimed repeatedly that the Obama White House tried to persuade him to abandon his Democratic primary challenge to Senator Arlen Specter by offering a high-level position in the Obama administration.

Rep. Sestak's allegations are extremely serious and yet we've heard nothing from the Obama White House so far but vague denials of wrongdoing and outright stonewalling.

It's time for everyone involved in this scandal to come clean. There is simply no wiggle room. Either Sestak lied about the federal job offer or someone at the White House likely committed a felony. It's that simple.

Attorney General Eric Holder's refusal to appoint a special counsel in the matter is a disgrace and will not stand.

This latest bribery allegation reflects a disturbing pattern by the Obama White House. We still don't have all the details about involvement of Obama administration officials in the sale of Obama's former Illinois U.S. Senate seat by Rod Blagojevich. And we still don't have answers about the charge that Obama Deputy Chief of Staff Jim Messina offered a federal job to Colorado Democratic Senate candidate Andrew Romanoff to keep him out of the Senate race. There is also the report that President Obama tried to push disgruntled White House Counsel Greg Craig out of the White House by offering a federal judgeship on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. And now we have Joe Sestak.

The Chicago Machine has truly come to Washington.

Truth fears no inquiry. If the Obama White House has nothing to hide then it will ask for and fully cooperate with thorough Justice Department and congressional investigations of this scandal.

According to Judicial Watch, the following laws (among others) may have been violated in the Sestak matter: 18 USC 210 : Offer to procure appointive public office; 18 USC 211 : Acceptance of solicitation to obtain appointive public office; 18 USC 595 : Interference by administrative employees by Federal, State or Territorial Governments; and 18 USC 600 : Promise of employment or other benefit for political activity.

Just more evidence of the mental defect that is liberalism and their culture of corruption. Holder may pan out to be even worse than Clinton's bodyguard - Janet Reno.

Only dems would have no issue with bribing folks with key National Defense positions so they can keep their bloody fangs buried in the jugular of the body politic.

and right wingers would use a job offer to manufacture outrage to tip an election.

look the same crowd defending Bush/Cheney pressuring the CIA for favorable intel, and OUTTING AGENTS suddenly want a special prosecutor to investigate a job offer. it's about misplaced priorities.

The right will excuse MAJOR issues when it's their guy,

and seek impeachment of Democrats for having an affair.
