This is the last game for the USA team before they head off to the biggest event in the world (sporting event or non, and that's not to be disputed) The World Cup. And yes I already posted in the sports forum. Let's show some love for the USA team!

The main world sport is soccer.. love it or hate it, its a fact. Almost every country with the USA as the exception flocks to these events. And the World Cup IS considered the main sports event in most of the world. It makes the super bowl, Stanley cup, and world series look like a joke

so the super bowl is a joke? um...great for the soccer fans here in the US, but seriously, let's compare the ratings in our country. a seattle vs kansas city superbowl, even that would trounce.

I know I'll be watching even on my trip back east. Soccer is the worlds sport and with our youth its getting bigger and bigger.

 

Did you guys know more kids play soccer in the United States than any other youth sports?

 

Someday it would be nice to see our team represent us with a chance to go far. But that seems a reach at this time.

 

One day they will do just like the American hokey team did so many years ago. If that happens things will change in the minds of many of the people that don't find it an entertaining sport.
