Question for BJ III

last year, the bottom of my boat got all kinds of scummy.

I applied decent bottom paint, but still a lot of scum formed, making it really really scummy.

some of the other boats near mine in the mooring field were pretty scummy, some scummier than mine, some not as scummy.

you seem to know how to control scum, what should I do?

Looks like it's on your running gear and tabs, not so much your bottom.

Did you anti-foul them?

Don't count on BJ, he has proven to be unreliable. tongue.gif

BJ will tell you that you need to use "special" bottom paint. It's the "Troop Spitter" brand that will keep the scummy liar scum from scumming your hull.

View PostJust for the record, how long is BJ going to be subjected to abuse for blowing off DJ? BTW was it the Freestones in NB and is it still a good spot?

Yeah, Freestones is pretty OK and it's reasonable. Both for food and drinks.

The Candleworks down the street a bit is better, but also more $$$$.

New Beige has some really good restaurants around the downtown area. Spicy Lime on Pleasant St. behind Probate Court is great Thai food icon14.gif
