Picked up our first co-op produce this week

We do not have the space to garden as well as develpment rules so we joined a co-op at a local farm last year. We picked up a delivery once a week. This week was our first. We get way more than enough for the two of us so we end up giving it away to friends or freezing it.

We got, raddishes, garden greens (several kinds), bokchoy(?), and a ton of fresh strawberries.

Not sure what to do with the bokchoy yet. Will have to read up on it.

I look forward to the stuff each week.

Or split it and put EVOO with garlic in a saute pan. I love the stuff. Oriental market .75 c a pound. drool.gif

We paid 375$ this year. Worth it to me to get the fresh picked stuff on a weekly basis.

Goes from May (this week was the first) to October if I remember right.

Cool, thanks. Sounds like a reasonable price. I know a few folks in my area who belong to a co-op and they are very pleased. I have access to a large bit of proprerty, and one of my long range ideas was to start a co-op of sorts. Its still a lllllloooooonnnnggg range plan though redface.gifwink.gif .

Enjoy your fresh veggies!
