Lefty #1 top slot lips

Hey all,

I have a full pack of Lefty #1 top slot lips and I'm not sure why I bought them, but I have them, and I'm looking for ideas for plugs to use them on. I use a lot more of the mid-slots for Lefty style plugs, and small torpedoes and the like, but I have not yet found anything that uses the top-slots.

Anyone using these for anything interesting? I'd love to hear.....

Thanks,

Ed

Hey Ed. I use them alot for most of my smaller plugs. I prefer the high slot. I like them on longer thin plugs where you don't have alot of meat below the lip slot.

Great replies guys, I see lots of peanuts and slims in my future.

Greek, I think those skinny and long profile plugs might be just the ticket with the recent sand eel blast we've been having.

Thanks again,

Ed

I hear that Ed. Jersey was loaded with sand eels this fall. I actually working on a design just like greeks. Salty makes a sand eel swimmer(based on the Pichney Sand Eel like Roc built) that I saw and I'm going to base it somewhat off his design. Well really just the general shape anyway, I chuck some wood in the lathe and see what comes out

For a peanut check out 4290's or pm him. According to Zim it is awesome

Roc,

Toad Belly would be a good name for a rock band.

And for a guy who does not like to paint much, you do some pretty awesome paint.
