I am thinking about taking his youngest daughter to the ticker tape parade in NYC for the Jets, after they've won the Super Bowl when she comes for a visit a week after the Super Bowl, any advice?

Been to a few starting with the 84 Olympics team (Mary Lou Reton) follows by the Vietnam Vets parade and the 86 Mets and then throw in a few Yankee parades and finally the Giants.

Bit the one I'm waiting for is the Jets in a few weeks.

It's a lot of fun.

Me never went to one, but my Mom claims to have a cookie tin full of the real paper from 1946 when she went to honor our guys returning home from WWII. icon14.gificon14.gif

The division returned to the United States 3 January 1946. The division crossed the Atlantic home on the RMS Queen Mary. In New York City it got a Ticker-tape parade.

Tough bunch. Just like the men and women serving today. angel.gificon14.gifangel.gificon14.gificon14.gificon14.gificon14.gif
