Laminate Help

Ok, while pulling out the dishwasher i mistakenly caught the edge of the counter and broke off a piece of laminate mad.gif that broke off into a couple pieces! I found all but a small piece that I can use contact cement to put back with little notice. HOWEVER, now I have a chip maybe 1/4" in diameter that I don't know what to do with. I checked out Homies and they don't sell an epoxy chip repair set. One guy recommeded that I take some laminate off an unnoticable part like next to the fridge and grind it up well in a blender to a saw dust then use 5 minute epoxy in the hole and after a few minutes to sprinkly the dust over the epoxy and use wax paper to smooth it out... I'm not gonna lie, I'm kinda scared of do that one. Plus I dont think I have a blender that will do that... The color is mainly a blackish red...any help?
