Let's See Some Masterlure

28 posts in this topic

I am not a collector, and I don't even own a Masterlure, but after looking over some old posts on here I am blown away by the work he/they(?) did! The colors seem to be way ahead of their time, they look like the custom stuff we see today. Please post more pics, these plugs are amazing! clapping.gif

true,,but they had in their minds they would be fished...I dought any builder back then wanted or thought of them as collectable...fish them..lose it..buy more....was on their mind. They used what they had or could get their hands on to get them made....I also believe they had no thoughts of making them bullet proof as is in the world of thought today.Which I think is over rated.

always thought that lure was neet...just don't understand the nose loop hook...except for trolling maybe?

Tagger...I've seen a ton of ccb plugs with bad paint too...but they were good....I'd have put bluestreaks right up there as well.
