For the past few days when opening a new tab I am automatically taken to what looks like a search engine by the name of Fast Browser Search. The Norton Anti Virus program says that this site is a threat. So how do I get my new tabs to go to Google again?

Go to your browser options. You visited a site that reset your home page to theirs. You can set your home page in your options.

Find your browsers options tab. Found by right clicking on E/ or whatever your browser is in your start up menu. Then highlight what is in the box, backspace to get rid of it,then type Google in its place, click apply. Should be done. Then go to your add/ remove program in you computers options tab. Find the toolbars name that was added and delete. If none of that works, you could try to restore your comp to an earlier date. Like, when you know it was working correctly.

Hope it helps.

on firefox click tools>add-ons>disable next to faster. If that doesnt work on your pc go to control panel>add remove>click remove faster. If those 2 options dont work the final solution is going into Firefox config. It's a little more indepth, had a similar issue with AVG toolbar kept hijacking my page. AVG of all peoplebiggrin.gif I'll check back later if it doesnt work out and post instructions.
