There is a Trojan that mimics the legitamate iexplore.exe.

 

Have you run a virus scan ?

 

Here is a free program that does a great job of getting rid of malware in case you would like to give it a try.

 

Download the free version and follow the prompts. (Make sure you update it before running the scan)

I ran both my spyware and malware programs and still get the popups. The crazy thing is I only get them when I'm on SOL. I googled iexplore and found a few "fixers". I want to make sure they would be safe first before I make things worse smile.gif

You should be able to disable pop ups in your browser settings. What browser are you using?
