Having too much time alone to think can be a good thing and sometimes it can be troubling.

A few days ago I found an e-mail waiting in my inbox from Steve In Mass.

It was to remind me that as depressed as I have felt and much as I may be feeling out of place,

that I am not nor have I ever really been.

That there is the support of those who know and care about their members, about people.

Every time I thought about writing this, because of lack of sleep and a sometimes racing mind I have been afraid of putting my foot (or would it be keyboard) in my mouth.

You may see me looking in here and there, and I will be back, but I have a lot of things to figure out right now.

I can't recall ever being this scared about anything, there was always a logical determination staring me in the face.

My life got kind of flipped upside down and now, I am not sure where I am going to end up or what I am going to be doing.

That's working on that now, and the pain and self doubt this mess has created.

I'm not sure if I am supposed to know what is going on here, but MikeY called me and I have seen the other thread, although I can't make it through it without getting completely choked up.

I have not read that to the end...

It felt kind of like when someone tells you about a great gift you are not supposed to know about, so when you realize it you begin to distract yourself.

I have wanted to say thank you for several days, but thank you just does not seem nearly enough.

Thank you for your concern, for putting up with my late night ramblings, for being here for each other.

Thank you for welcoming me the honor to be part of this family.

Thank you,

John Chase

I've only met one other member on this forum face to face, but I've felt like a member of quite a supportive group for sometime. i'm sure the friends you've met and have grown to love will continue to support you. i don't know you personally but know that you are NEVER alone, no matter how lonely you feel. I've had troubles and when I thought all was gone and out there was always a silver line. I'm no Jesus freak, but on my back my tat now reads:

One day I was walking with Jesus,

I asked him "how much do you love me?"

and Jesus said, "This much, and he stretched out his arms

......and died for me

and this helped and continues to help me through each day.

My friends tat reads

"Pressure only makes the Diamond more beautiful"

Try to stay positive and I wish you the best with whatever troubles you and hope that things get better soon!

Hey John, I know we have never met but we have talked a few times. I consider you as a friend & want you to know if you need to talk I'm always here. Sometimes life throws us a few curves & we wonder why. It helps to speak to others to help you get through these times in life when we don't understand. I have always said there is a reason for everything. So if I can help easen the burden I'm only a click away.............Be Well My Friend

John,

I will be praying for you.

Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Mat 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

1Pe 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

1Pe 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

John, hang in there. There is a door out there that will be opened for you. You just gotta keep knocking till you find it.

I know these sound like cliches but they are so true. NEVER, EVER GIVE UP. You know my history and I just kept plugging along (no pun intended).

God bless and watch over you.

Spig
