mike NJ
thats freaky!! loks like a cross between a LM bass and a koi. i'm surprised it lived as long as it did. usually those anomolies are weeded out at a very young age.

Pleco
That's a cool looking bass! Â In this one lake that I fish, I occasionally catch bass with black splotches. Here is one with a spot and a black anal fin.

javicruzito
Thankg guys, I impressed when I caught this Bass. This is a federal lake here in PR and this lake are plenty of Largemouth Bass is the only fish that live in this lake and some panfish like Bluegills and Redear sunfish, the water is too cold for Peacock Bass. Thanks God there are not Peacock Bass in this lake, because Peacock are too aggressive and is not good for Largemouth.I think this Largemouth Bass is one in a million, my friends and I we see a lot of Bass, but never like this one before! and let me tell you it is very aggressive and very strong. mike NJ the same color of a koi, but is a real Largemouth Bass. Â hunt for blueessss I release the fish just after the photos. Â hehe...thank flytyingguy1 Â Paul M, pollution I don't think so,like I say before, this lake is a federal lake and is located in between one of the highest moutains of the island and is very clean and beautiful, maybe a genetic thing. Â DerrickT the other Bass look normal, as are all........Guys sorry for my english!!! Â This is a Largemouth Bass in the same place and the same day! Paul_M
Lack of normal pigmentation - an albino. See you on the big one.
hunt for blueessss
Lack of normal pigmentation - an albino. Â more along the lines of leucism. an insanely awesome fish mainly because it survived being a yoy and has grown to a similar size of the other bass in the lake. there must not be any predation on LMB locally? #1 white bucktail. #2 bunker chunk. #3 bone Redfin
pat the nat
That is one very cool lookin fish! Maybe that super gigantic radar dish you got down there has something to do with it. Just kidding, I agree with Hunt for Bluesss- some kind of leucistic anomaly. I like to see a man of advancing years throwing caution to the wind. Its inspiring in a way. More coffee hun? Yeah, just keep it coming.
