one fight lasted over an hour (the guy had to sit on the cooler to finish the fight. ) GET OUT THERE NOW!!!!!!!!

that video is awesome! The lightest I've ever gone for blue sharks is a light weight fresh water bass rod with a shimano sahara 2000 size reel and 10 lb braid. I now have a new goal!

get yourself a #32 meat grinder from northern tool and start grinding your own....you'll save big $$$ if you're going through lots of chum.

We used to go out a couple 3 times a season. Now it's just once a year. Time is short as are funds for everybody. Grinding those flats of mackerel won't be cheap either. We usually bring 2 flats with us. One for bait and one for extra chum. We've got a sausage grinder that fits on a board and a bucket. We grind up a bucket of macks to spice up the frozen slick while we're out there. Gives the younguns something to do while waiting for jaws to show up.
