Sabiki rigs

I saw someone using a Sabiki set up in Fla. to catch some bait off a pier. The darned thing really worked! I was wondering if anyone knows the regulations in NJ (we're NJ, I'm certain there are some!) regarding these rigs? Most Sabiki's have six hooks and I know there's a three hook limit for fresh water. How about salt water....anybody know?

I take mine and cut them down. The ones I use usually have 6 hooks and we put a diamond jig on the end. I cut them in 1/2. Tie on a new snap swivel on the bottom of 1. Hooking 7 mackeral ( 1 on the diamond jig) at once causes all sorts of tangles. IMHO it's easier to get them off quickly and into the live well with less trauma.
