My fishing partner just got this from someone who owed him a favor clapping.gifclapping.gif

We know none of its history but we do have paperwork biggrin.gif

I'm going to try to get it running today.

All 1987 and the motor looks like new under the cowl

I'mnot the lucky one,my buddy is... I'm the unlucky one who gets to clean it,get it ship shape and repair if necessary.

I'll only be able to use it when the water is farm pond flat..... but I will be able to use it biggrin.gif

I'm going to clean and polish it today and try to get it started.

Fishfinder, GPS and whatnot still will need to be installed. Good thing I kept mine when I sent the Outrage to Amsterdam last year.

All cleaned up,inside and out. Wax tomorrow... Back is killing me.

Added a battery, put some gas to it with a portable tank and she fired right up. Purred like a kitten. All the gauges work except for the water pressure gauge. That line is pissin water.

I'll check the lights tonight and will install the electronics too.

Wooooohoooooo!!!!!

So, you work like me...

This boat was pretty clean to begin with.

I sprayed it with a hose.

I filled a 1 gallon bug sprayer with 1/2 bleach 1/2 water and added some dish washer detergent.I sprayed it,let it soak and washed it down with a scrubbie and barkeepers friend. Inside and out. Clean as new....

PT&T needed fluid and nothing else by the looks of it. It is working fine now.

FF is going in right now and the old Garmin GPS from my Whaler is next.

Tossed up on adding a VHF as I have not used mine in a long time... Got cell coverage almost everywhere I go. Maybe I should be safe rather than sorry...

New radials going on the trailer tomorrow or Weds.

Axle has to be moved back, there's no weight on the tongue and ya can't step in the back of the boat without the whole trailer going nose up in seconds cwm31.gif Trailered like crap too..

The gas smells just fine. There's half a tank from 2007. Should I use it or drain it? Plan was to top it off with high test and fuel conditioner and also take a couple portable tanks along as a precaution.
