How many fifties and sixties will be logged for Mass. ? Some will not tell as usual or revise where they are caught.

I am just guessing but maybe a few in the sixties from the CC Canal late September to mid October.

Any seventies this year from Mass.?

from a lot of small fish to more large ones. If this continues, one can look forward to the resource having declines similar to past years and overall that will not be good into the future in my opinion.cwm15.gif

Is it too optimistic to hope or think that we could have more fish all around, small to ex. large?

Is it true that there doesn`t seem to be many smaller size Stripers around?

Too many tourneys, too many people fishing (keeping undersized fish and mortality rate for released), too many large kept for show and tell or to eat,

too many fish killed as bycatch, etc. etc.?

I hope not.

I'm hoping for NONE. wink.gif Let the big girls lay their eggs and keep the population going. More people care about being able to catch fish and watch their children's children catch fish than they do about you hauling in a big one.

And the "you" is not directed at you, Skitterpop. HappyWave.gif Just in general.

That is a nice sentiment but how many wouldn`t keep a fish of a lifetime? Even a second fifty to the collection?

Not many is my guess.
