Disabling MS Speech Recognition?

Rate this topic

8 posts in this topic

I think some speech applications for use with a microphone came via a windows XP update...

every time I open up a spread sheet, I get a "welcome to speech recognition" window with steps to follow to sync up the program and the microphone.

Only one issue... I HAVE NO USE FOR IT AND IT'S EFFING ANNOYING!

Can I uninstall the speech recognition app alone? Before I break my laptop's monitor?redface.gifredface.gifredface.gif
