RALLY for OUR REEFS! Now is the time to RALLY FOR OUR REEFS...

and prove to Trenton that we WE WANT OUR REEFS BACK - now!

The USF&W, NJDEP and NJDFW say the reefs belong to anglers and spear fishers - so why are commercial trappers dominating them?

Recreational anglers have paid for the reefs - so why must we endure lost rigs and anchors and subject ourselves to dodging trap markers?

Why are anglers & divers being denied access to a resource designed for hook, line and spear fishing!

Why isn't the DEP complying with the approved NJ Artificial Reef Plan? Why is the State jeopardizing $1.9 million in federal funds by turning their back on this problem? Why are 'ghost pots' ignored and continue killing reef fish every day?

We want answers - but we need action!

Come hear what the legislators have to say about NJ's reefs. If reefs are important to you and your organization - then attend this important event.

Join nearly 1,000 people expected to attend the Mako Mania/Reef Rally on Friday, June 26, 2009, 6:30pm.

If you missed the Mullica Hill Rally or the Battle of Monmouth Rally that helped us keep our freedoms to fish, hunt and trap - then you won't want to miss this rally!

(see attached below link for more info).

sponsored by NJOA, Reef Rescue, Greater Point Pleasant Charter Boat Assoc.

you stated:Why are anglers & divers being denied access to a resource designed for hook, line and spear fishing!

1.How are you stopped from diving?

2.How are you stopped from fishing?

3. How much money did you raise?

4. What political groups do you give the money to?

Question:

Recreational anglers have paid for the reefs - so why must we endure lost rigs and anchors and subject ourselves to dodging trap markers?

Answer:

1. O'well that's fishing lost a couple rigs.

your whining like a little b*tch!

2. lost your anchor/ you must have hung it up in the reef!

3. Dodging trap markers is part of running a boat!

You should rally about illegal immigration something that affects you and everyone on a daily basis.

The NJOA is a PAC for NJ Recreational Outdoorsmen. If you need to become educated about who they are and what they do please visit the website.

If you don't want to assist in preserving the Reefs for recreational pursuits (for which they were originally intended), I'm sure the commercial fishing PACs will be glad to have your support.

They are several organizations re: illgeal immigration - what they have to do with making sure the recreational angler's voice is heard in the NJ Legislature would not only be unique, but kind of ... weird? Hey - but whatever floats yer boat!rolleyes.giffreak.gif

wow.... freak.gif real tough guy eh? probably grew up eating nails as a child with your milk.... freak.gif you're sooooo cool..... HappyWave.gifcan't get this icon to work the arm the way i want it to... wink.gif

if ... these reefs are funded exclusively by sport fishermen (and not comingled funds from commercial fishery fees/licenses) , then recreational access is primary... it's all about who pays for it.... but if funds are pooled then everyone should have access rights...

but either way you're still sooooo very cool ... thumbd.gif
