What's a good air brush system for a beginner?

Well, I've finally come over to the dark side......I've used rattle-cans for years and years, but would like to switch to an air machine. What would you experts (I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy!) out there recommend? Thanks!

first off what is your budget? that will help greatly with helping you pick an airbrush that would be good for you.

also what type are you looking to get? gravity fed? or suction fed?

Under $250.00 for everything necessary - less paints. As to gravity or suction, I don't know enough about the merits of either system. Thanks!

View Postget coupon sunday paper for ac moore or michaels [art /craft store]

they sell iwata bcs with 50% off it's a steal and a great brush

Although guys say they see the Iwata BCS at those two stores I've never seen them for sale in my area on N.J. (Could be a regional thing)

If you can get that brush at 1/2 price its a deal.

I recently got a Peak x-5 and its impressive. Works great. It sprays paints

my Iwata BCS had problems with.

One of the reasons I started looking at other brushes was I got tired of the

Iwata replacement parts cost. You wont find these at 1/2 off.

Same here in RI..Neither AC nor Michaels in my neighborhood don't even stock the Iwata.

On the recommendation from Berzy I bought the Peak x-5, quite satisfied..
