GSB1081L Spinning rod $150!

17 posts in this topic

Perfect condition.

Used once.

I am having two rods built now and as you can see by how much I'm selling, I need the cash to pay for my new stuff.

I think this rod will be pick up only, as I don't think I want ship a 9' rod.

This is a great price and a great rod.

Some call it the perfect back bay rod.

I'll put pics up today some time, but all the stuff I'm selling, is in beautifaul condition.

Forgot to mentio, this rod, like all my customs, has no reel seat.

View PostWho built it? Where are u located? Pics?

I too was wondering where he was at. A search of his previous posts shows:

I am on Long Island in Smithtown

Chigger, just a suggestion. If you're going to be selling a bunch of stuff with a pickup option, go into your profile and enter your location. You don't have to be super specific if you have privacy concerns, but State and County at least would be very helpful to potential buyers. wink.gif

I don't have privacy concerns, it was a mistake. I have had problems trying to change my profile in the past and frankly never thought to look at it.

I am in Smithtown on Long Island.

I wrapped the guides and put the cork tape on it, while Matt at Rocky Point Fishing Stop kept a close eye on me. He finished the rod i.e. made sure the guides where straight, cleaned it up and epoxied it.

Pics will be up in a minute.

Thanks

I am interested and live close by in Huntington.

Do you happen to know the number of guides and well as the size of the rings?

Thanks,

Alex

Hey

thanks for asking.

4 guides and a tip. Total 5 guides.

I am not possitive on the guides, so if I told you numbers I'd be guessing.

I will pm you my cell # if you want to come take a look at it.

I just took a look, and I think it is just the way the flash is hitting the epoxy.

Your welcome to come take a look for yourself.

Let me know.

Thanks for asking.
