Bass right now in Sebago Lake, Maine

3 posts in this topic

Hi, I am going to try Sebago tomorrow and will be looking for largemouth and smallmouth. I assume that they are in the pre spawn phase and northern coves close to deep water should be focused on? I assume that the largemouth will be more shallow and relating more to wood and weeds and the smallies will be getting ready to stage on rock cover?

What do you think?

Generally, i would chase shallow bass w/ tubes and if you want to find bass staging in deep, try and locate them with a ratt-l-trap, crankbait or spinnerbait. Can't help you with that particular lake, but find their pattern and go get 'em. Good luck
