Stripedbass50lbs
I have a question for all those who use a VS. Why do you use it? Do you think that you catch more fish using a VS than say using a 706/850 etc? I personally do not like the VS. I sold off mine several years ago & now only fish with Penn's 706/850/750's etc. I do not feel that I have caught any less fish using those reels than if I used a VS. This question has been asked to my fellow club members and I receive various answers from "I like the feel" to "It is dependable". I answer with "Penn's never leak". What do you guys & gals think? On another note, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all the SOLer's & their families a Very Merry and safe Christmas and Happy New Years. Please say a prayer for our troops. Many, Many years ago I was one of them. Sb
BassKid(SI)
If you are big into surf fishing and wading deep or like using a wetsuit, then they are great for those type of applications because they are air tight. I seen pictures of guys using them underwater when you can only see their head! FISH HARD[NY & NJ] LIVE LONG.Atom 40 Biatch.
